Kipling was an English poet, novelist and journalist, born in English India. His birthplace inspired him to write his most famous work, the Jungle Book. Apart from his novels, he was very well known for his short stories and for his award of the Nobel Prize in 1907.

The Jungle book is a novel comprised on a collection of short stories. The Plot follows a young boy, Mowgli, who lives in the Jungle among many different exotic animals, including his friends Baloo (bear) and Bagheera (panther), and his enemy Shere Khan (tiger).
