SHIPPING & RETURNS

Shipping Policy

Shipping is provided through Royal Mail for orders under 2 kg, and through UPS for orders over 2 kg within the UK mainland. International orders are subject to other providers, usually UPS.

A range of different shipping options are available:

Standard: Royal Mail 1st Class Signed For (arrives within 2-3 business days).
Express: Royal Mail Special Delivery Guaranteed by 1pm (next business day by 1pm, if ordered before 10am, otherwise the day after).

Your book(s) will be packaged securely, wrapped in bubble wrap in a cardboard box so it reaches you in the same condition as it was sent.

If you submit multiple orders, they may be sent in one or multiple packages.

A tracking number will be emailed to you once your book has been dispatched.

We can only ship to the same address as given to us by the payment company for security reasons and action against fraud.

All orders are aimed to be dispatched within 48 hours of payment. Most will be dispatched either the same day or on the next working day.

International orders:

We are happy to take orders from international customers. Please contact us to arrange a postage quote to get you the best available price.

Any VAT, import duty, or additional charges related to the import/export of these books remains the sole responsibility of the buyer.

Returns Policy

We (WoodPaz Books) try to describe our books as accurately as possible with detailed photos showing any defects. Some books will be hundreds of years old, with which condition issues naturally arise, so if purchasing very old books, we do our very best to describe their current state. This is through our condition description system (Fine, NF, VG+, VG, VG-, G+, G, G-, S+, S, S-, P+, P, P-). What is this?

If unsatisfied for any reason, please contact us as soon as possible and we will do our absolute best to resolve any issues you may have with your order(s). You have the right to cancel your order under the terms below.

Return Policy
Our policy lasts 14 days. If 14 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately you are no longer eligible for a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it. It must also be sent with all of the original packaging, including the invoice.

Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within 3-5 business days.

Late or missing refunds
If you haven't received a refund yet, please check your bank or credit card account again then contact the respective financial institution, as there is often some processing time before a refund is credited to your payment method.

Sale items
Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded. This does not apply to the free shipping offers over a certain order value.

Shipping
To return your product, you should mail your product to the address sent to you in the email you will have received (within 24 hours of sending us the return form)

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

If you are returning an item over £50, you should consider using a shipping service that offers tracking or purchasing shipping insurance. We recommend the use of UPS for high value insurance, or Royal Mail Special Delivery Guaranteed by 1pm for under £2,500.

We offer no guarantees towards the receiving of your returned item, and if it is lost in transit it is your responsibility to have the value of your return insured. We will not issue a return if we do not receive the order back.

Cancellation of your order (return) will not be possible for any reason outside of the 14 day period.
