The author of probably the most well known children's book of all time. Alice's Adventures in Wonderland has been a timeless classic that has been beloved by all. It has inspired many movies and other authors.

The novel, Alice's Adventures in Wonderland was inspired by real life events. Carroll went on a boat ride with his children and friend, where he recounted a previous rainy picnic, with some added dramatics; he called it Alice's Adventure Underground. Later he took that story and wrote it down, creating the classic we know today.
