These publications have been in existence since the Middle Ages and are often used as reference guides by farmers, sailors, and other professionals who require knowledge on seasonal patterns and other practical matters. Rider's Sheet Almanac is a 19th-century divinatory tool that combines astrology, numerology, and other esoteric practices to provide guidance and predictions for the future. It comes with a set of cards with various symbols and numbers on them, and an accompanying almanac that explains the meaning of the cards and details how to use them for divination. The Court & City Register, or Gentleman's Register, is an 18th-century publication that focuses on providing information on the upper classes of society. It contains listings of the royal family, nobility, and other prominent figures, as well as details on their estates and finances. -------------------

Text block extremely clean with very light toning and very sporadic very minor foxing. Spine with very minor superficial scratches (spine replaced). Both boards securely attached with very minor wear to joints and hinges. Very minor scuffing, rubbing, scratches, and marks on boards. Shelf wear. Shelf lean. Dulling to page edges. Very small tear to f.f.e.p. Some very light offsetting.
