Adorned with numerous plates, some of which fold out. The plates depict important figures of the time as well as significant buildings and churches.
Size: 20.5 x 13 x 4 cm each.
Condition: Very Good (VG / VG+)
Text blocks very clean with light toning and very sporadic very minor foxing. Some wear to the spines, most prominently on headcaps and tails. Lacking tooled labels. All boards attached with broken joints and hinges. Minors scuffing, rubbing, scratches and marks on boards. Shelf wear. Page edges dulled. Bookplates attached on front pastedown in all volumes. Endpapers prominently toned. Frontispieces toned with minor foxing. Torn corner of page 225/226 in volume two, which only very partially affects the text on page 225 (pictured). Very small tear to the plate facing page ??8 in volume three (pictured - last photograph).
