Q. Horace Flacci, known simply as Horace, was a Roman poet during the reign of Emperor Augustus. His works include satires, odes, and epistles, which address topics such as love, friendship, philosophy, politics, and morality. In his writings, he uses both Greek and Latin literary traditions, and his style is characterized by wit, irony, and a keen sense of observation. Mauricio Hauptio, in his review of Flacci's works, praises the poet's ability to capture the complexities of human nature in a clear and concise manner.
