-------------------
A stunning edition of Virgil's complete surviving works in folio format luxuriously bound in full vellum. The printing style is very much reminiscent of an incunable, with numerous woodcut engravings reproduced throughout the text.
Early copies of Virgil tend to command very high prices, with him being one of the most important ancient writers. This edition is beautiful, one of the nicest copies of Virgil's works we have had the privilege of offering for sale, and certainly a rather early copy.
Condition: Very Good (VG)
