Condition: Very Good (VG)

Text block very clean with light toning, and very sporadic very minor foxing. Very minor rubbing to spines and tooled labels. All tooled labels present. Gilt shows well. Very minor wear to headcaps; Minor damage to the headcap of volume one. Joints all securely attached with Brocken hinges. Minor scuffing with minor rubbing and scratches to boards. Dulling to page edges. Minor damage to corners. Bookplates removed from some volumes leaving very little paper residue. Bookplates is still attached in volume three, and partially in seven. Light toning and very minor foxing to title pages. Foxing to half title in volume one. Minor foxing to the frontispiece in volume one. Prominent foxing and discolouration caused by the frontispiece to the title page in volume one. Unattached preliminaries, frontispiece, title page and advertisement in volume one. Unattached preliminaries and title page in volume five. Minor warping of boards.
