Size: 10 x 16 x 2 cm (approx., each)
Total shelf space: ~20cm.
Condition:
Spines rebacked with contemporary joints preserving probably original boards. The volumes are very attractive indeed on the shelf with delightful red tooled morocco labels. The rebacking has been done such that volumes 1-3 and 7-9 are cocked and converge inward, though from the shelf this is not evident and they present uniformly. Spines show as fine. Minor wear to boards but remaining generally very good. Edge toning to preliminaries as commensurate with the calf binding. Reinforced hinges with all boards securely attached. Top page edge dulled as typical with other edges generally very good. Text blocks are bright and free of foxing, mildly toned. Uncollated but appears complete. Text block in third volume split at centre in the binding and thus the fore edge appears non uniform.
