Text block very clean with light toning and very sporadic very minor foxing. Minor rubbing on spine. Tooled label present with very minor wear. Both boards attached with very minor wear to joints and hinges. Minor rubbing, scuffing and scratches on boards. Minor shelf wear. Some rubbing to corners. Dulling to page edges. Pencil ownership inscription on front pastedown. Minor foxing on endpapers. Light toning and minor foxing on title page. Very few and very sporadically placed pencil inscriptions in the margins (identified two, on pages 170 and 243 which are pictured).
