Text block extremely clean with very light toning and very sporadic very minor foxing. Very minor rubbing on spine. Tooled label present and gilt shows well. Minor rubbing on headcap. Both boards securely attached. Very minor scratches and rubbing on boards. Very minor dulling to page edges. Minor damage to corners. Shelf wear. Very minor pencil inscription and stamp on preliminary page. Toning and very minor marks on endpapers. Light toning to frontispiece and title page. Light toning and very minor marks on the second title page. Light toning to plates. A small handful of plates have very lightly transferred to pages opposite (text still very easily readable).
