Condition: Very Good (VG)


Text block extremely clean with very sporadic very minor foxing and marks. Minor loss of gilt and rubbing to the spines. Minor scuffing and rubbing to boards. Very minor wear to headcaps. Dulling of page edges. Shelf wear. Joints and hinges securely attached with very minor wear. Minor pencil marks to front pastedown. Very minor discolouration to pastedown. Title page of volume one clean with very minor foxing to the verso. Very minor toning and very minor marks to the title page of volume two. Title page of third volume has edges trimmed, not affecting text. Volume two with a small piece lacking from the top right corner of pp.41-44, and an even smaller piece lacking from the top of pp.82 of volume three; neither affecting text. Very minor tear to page 245 of volume two. No half titles if called for, research indicates that these are not called for however. Hence complete with all pages.
