Condition: Very Good (VG+)

Text blocks very clean with very light toning, and sporadic and very minor foxing. Minor wear to spines with some very small fragments lacking. Gilt on the spine of volume two has dulled. All boards securely attached with some wear to joints and hinges. Minor scuffing, rubbing and marks on boards. Shelf wear. Very minor shelf lean. Minor damage to corners. Dulling to page edges. Pen and pencil inscriptions and booksellers sticker on front pastedown in volume one. Pen inscription and booksellers sticker on front pastedown in volume two. Frontispiece and title page light toned with minor foxing in volumes one and two. Very small yellow mark on the reverse of the plate facing page 38 in volume two ("Bibliomania of the Golden Dustman").
