Condition: Very Good (VG- / VG)
Text blocks extremely clean with very minor toning, and rare and very sporadic very minor foxing. Minor wear to the spines. More prominent wear to the bottoms of the spines of Emma. Very minor loss of gilt but still shows well. Spines are warped. All boards are attached. Very minor marks to boards of all boards but those of Emma Vol 1, Emma Vol 2, Persuasion, and Northanger Abbey, which have more prominent discolouration and marks. Miner foxing on the boards of Persuasion. Unevenly cut page edges. Minor foxing on page edges. Very minor scratches to top page edge gilt. Very minor wear to corners. Shelf lean. Pen inscriptions on front pastedowns, and/or bookplates attached to some preliminaries and/or pastedowns. Minor pencil marks on preliminaries. Prominent toning on endpapers. Very minor foxing on half title, frontispiece, and title pages of Pride and Prejudice Vol 2, and Mansfield Park Vol 1. Very minor foxing to half title and frontispiece, and minor foxing on title page of Mansfield Park Vol 2. Minor foxing on half title, frontispiece, and title pages of Pride and Prejudice Vol 1, and Persuasion. All other half titles, frontispieces, and title pages are clean with light toning. Pen inscription on preliminary page of Sense and Sensibility Vol 1. Very minor tear to the half title of Emma Vol 1. Minor tear to page 39/40 in Emma Vol 1.
