Quarter bound with calf leather with all illustrations present. [i-xi], [1-588]. 12 plates; 10 full page plates.

Condition: Very Good (VG- / VG)

Very minor wear to spine. Both boards securely attached. Minor scuffing on boards. Rebound with the original pastedown attached to the new pastedown. Shelf wear. Minor dulling of page edges. Minor foxing, one small repair one top folding point, and one very small tear near the hinge on the frontispiece. Light toning and minor foxing on title page. Text block clean with minor foxing. Plates have caused light transfers to pages opposite (text is still readable). Prominent tear to page 267/268 with a small repair; tear goes through the text but is still easily legible.
