Journal of a Tour and Residence in Great Britain, During the Years 1810 and 1811 by Louis Simond. Two volumes. Second edition (2nd edition). Published in Edinburgh in 1817. Printed for James Ballantyne and Company.

Volume one: (VG+)
Text block extremely clean with very sporadic very minor marks and foxing. Gilt shows well. Minor rubbing to the spine with both tooled labels attached. Very minor wear to headcap. Rubbing and minor scuffing to boards. Some tears to the paper of the boards. Minor dulling to page edges. Shelf wear. Very minor damage to corners. Pen inscription and very minor marks to front pastedown. Endpapers clean with very minor marks. Light toning and very minor marks and foxing to title page.
Volume two: (G)
Minor rubbing to the spine of volume two and lacking tooled labels. Wear to headcap. Rubbing and minor scuffing to boards. Some tears to the paper of the boards. More prominent damage to the rear board. Minor dulling to page edges. Shelf wear. Very minor damage to corners. Pen inscription and minor foxing to front pastedown. Minor foxing to endpapers. Title page and leaf A are unattached. Water damage to top corner of text block starting on page 322 to rear endpapers. Overall, text block is clean with very sporadic very minor foxing.
