Text block with light toning, and sporadic and minor foxing. Very minor wear to spine. Gilt shows well with very minor loss. Both boards attached with minor wear to joints and hinges. Minor wear to headcap. Minor damage to tail (bottom of spine). Prominent wear and marks on boards. Minor damage to corners. Minor shelf lean. Minor dulling and marks on page edges. Shelf wear. Prominent foxing on pastedown and endpapers. Minor pencil inscription on preliminary page. Toning and minor foxing on half title. Toning and very minor foxing on title page. Hinge broken between page 298 and 299.
