Condition: Very Good (VG/ VG+)
Text block very clean with very light toning, and very sporadic and minor foxing. Some minor wear to the spine: light cracking and rubbing. Tooled label present. Some wear to joints and hinges. Rear board very loosely attached at the very bottom (pictured): hinge and joint mostly broken between pages 622 and 623. Minor wear to headcap and tail. Minor scuffing and rubbing on boards. Minor wear to corners. Shelf wear. Very light dulling to page edges. Bookplate attached to front pastedown. Pencil inscriptions on preliminary page. Very minor tear on preliminary page, less than 1cm long. Minor foxing to endpapers. Some toning and prominent foxing to frontispiece and illustrated half title. Light toning, very minor foxing and very small pencil inscription on title page. Repair to errata: a new piece of paper was stuck onto of the page (pictured). Plates with minor foxing, more prominent around page edges. Plates have lightly transferred onto pages opposite.
