This edition was made into a special edition, compassed as follows: 30 copies on China paper, at 30 fr. volume; 100 copies on Whatman paper, at 20 fr. volume; 130 copies, all numbered.

Size: 22 x 14.5 x 3.5 cm each.

Condition: Very Good (VG+)

Text blocks very clean with light toning and sporadic very minor foxing. Very minor rubbing on spine. Very minor wear to headcaps. All boards securely attached. Very minor scuffing and rubbing, and very minor scratches and marks on board. Minot dulling of page edges. Very minor marks to top page edge gilt. Shelf wear. Bookplates attached to front pastedown in all volumes. Light toning and very minor foxing on half titles, frontispiece and title pages. Frontispiece has very lightly transferred onto the title page in volume one. Unevenly cut page edges.
