The Brontë Sisters, Charlotte, Emily, and Anne, are famous English female poets and novelists.
Originally the sisters published their works under the pseudonyms Currer, Ellis, and Acton Bell. The identities of the three sisters was only revealed in 1850 after the deaths of Emily and Anne when Charlotte wrote a preface for the combination reprint of wuthering heights and Agnes Grey in which she revealed their identities.
Their most well-known works are Charlotte's Jane Eyre, Emily's Wuthering Heights, and Anne's the Tenant of Wildfell Hall.
